Founded in June 2005, Washington Urology is a premiere urological surgery practice delivers compassionated, skilled, and innovative medical care for patients experiencing a wide variety of genitourinary conditions.
To this end, we seek to educate our patients regarding the extensive array of treatment options before they make significant health-related decisions. Our primary areas of expertise include urological oncology, urological laparoscopic surgery (including robot-assisted laparoscopy), general urology, reconstructive urology, male infertility, medical and minimally invasive surgical management of benign prostate enlargement, male sexual health, and male and female incontinence.
Washington Urology has expertise in performing a number of laparoscopic procedures. Drs. Joel, Mordkin and Bernstein have performed many robot-assisted laparoscopic prostatectomies. In addition, Drs. Mordkin and Joel are instructors for Intuitive Surgical, the makers of the  surgical system.
