Cystolithalopaxy is a procedure performed to treat stones in the bladder. This is usually done by placing a cystoscope through the urethra into the bladder. The surgeon then utilizes a laser fiber to fragment the stone into small particles which can be washed out. Surgery usually does not require an overnight stay in the hospital.
