Heather Causseaux, Nurse Practitioner

Heather Causseaux attended George Mason University, in Fairfax, Virginia where she obtained her Bachelors of Science in Nursing in 2005. She then went to work at Virginia Hospital Center in the orthopedics department. In November 2005, Heather began working at Washington Urology as a registered nurse. In October 2008, she became certified as a urological nurse.

In 2007, she returned to George Mason University to obtain her Masters of Science in Nursing. During that time, she continued to work at Washington Urology. While at George Mason University, Heather did clinical rotations with the emergency room, several internal medicine practices, and an endocrinology group. She graduated from George Mason University in May 2010 and became board certified as an Adult Nurse Practitioner with the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Prior to graduation, she was inducted into Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society.

In June 2010, Heather started as an adult nurse practitioner with Dr. Mordkin and Dr. Joel at Washington Urology. She is a member of the Virginia Council of Nurse Practitioners, American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, Society of Urological Nurses and Associates and Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society.
